Our mobile kitchens are delivered with all electrical, plumbing, and gas connections pre-installed. All utility costs during the lease are the responsibility of the client.
Mobile Culinaire's mobile kitchen comes equipped with mounted propane tanks, pre-filled and capable of holding 50 to 100 gallons. To ensure uninterrupted gas supply, collaboration with your local gas company is necessary. Once you receive the trailer, we suggest having a local gas company inspect the tanks, and arrange a schedule with them for any refilling of the tanks.
Our kitchens trailers need a hard-wired connection to the electrical panel box or Power Inlet Box. It is the client's responsibility to establish this connection. We recommend hiring a local professional electrician for this task.
For freshwater supply, Mobile Culinaire's kitchen trailers are typically connected using a standard garden hose or fresh water hose with a 3/4 inch fitting. We suggest having a close freshwater source from the trailer and hiring a professional plumber for the connection.
For waste water there are 2 options:
The first and recommended method is to hire a professional plumber who can install a waste line with a grease trap, allowing the waste to be drained into a nearby sewer system.
If this option is not possible, an alternative solution would be to use a waste water tank (available to lease from Mobile Culinaire). These tanks typically have a capacity of 250 gallons. Regular maintenance will be required in this case, with the tanks needing to be pumped on a weekly or bi-monthly basis, depending on your specific needs. It is also important to have a grease trap in place.

The permit requirements vary across states, counties, and localities. You should get in touch with your Local Health Department, Fire Marshal, and Building Department, inform them about your project so they can guide you on any particular requirements you need to fulfil. In most cases, it is required that you obtain a permit and expect an inspection once the kitchen trailer has been set up.
It is the client’s responsibility to prepare the site and restore it after use. We recommend hiring a General Contractor for these operations. The space should be readily accessible and unobstructed for the kitchen trailer delivery. Moreover, any necessary changes to structure or grade should be carried out by the client before the kitchen trailer’s delivery. The site should be level, with a maximum allowed slope of six inches from one end to the other.
